Ophthalmic experience a plus.
Duties are answering phones, making appointments, filing, and entering information on the computer. Looking for someone who's personable, caring, and friendly and has a pleasant phone voice-- all the standard qualities you want for staff interacting with patients. The ability to multitask; knowledge of Excel a plus. Will answer phones and make appointments; some billing & insurance. Hours: Monday: 10-6pm, Tuesday: 8-4pm, Wednesday: 8-4pm, Thursday either 8-4pm or 11-7pm, Friday: 8-4pm, occasional Saturdays 8-4pm. Would consider front office staff from another medical specialty. Continuing education encouraged and compensated. Health insurance and retirement plan. Two weeks vacation a year, 5 sick/personal days a year. Office has 30+ employees
